Hoist from Navy Vessel at Rosslyn Bay
The helicopter was tasked to assist a Royal Australian Navy vessel off the coast or Yeppoon as one of the crewmembers, a 21 year old female, was experiencing chest pains and shortness of breath.
The vessel, a beach landing craft, maintained its course through large swells while a Rescue Crewman and the Intensive Care Paramedic were hoisted down to the vessel. The patient was assessed and hoisted into the helicopter and flown to Rockhampton Hospital for further treatment.
