Horse Fall Near Cracow
RACQ CAPRICORN HELICOPTER RESCUE was today tasked to retrieve a 49 year old male from a property near Cracow Mine. While horse riding the 49 year old male was thrown when his horse tripped and subsequently rolled on him.
A QAS ICP and Careflight Doctor were deployed with the helicopter to retrieve the injured man. The man was assessed at the scene and flown directly to Rockhampton Base Hospital, suffering suspected internal injures and pelvic/spinal injuries.
