Snake bite - Shoalwater Bay Training Area
The helicopter was tasked to rescue a 58 year old man following a suspected snake bite. The man was working on a building project when he suddenly began experiencing dizziness and nausea.
He was transported via RAAF ambulance to Williamson airfield in preparation for medical evacuation. He was then flown by helicopter to Rockhampton in a stable condition.
