Motor Vehicle Accident - West of Blackwater
The helicopter was dispatched to retrieve a 69 year old female patient following a motor vehicle accident 30 klm west of Blackwater on the Capricorn Highway. The accident occurred when two vehicles towing caravans lost control whilst one was attempting to overtake the other. The female patient was treated for chest and back injuries and transported to Rockhampton Hospital for further treatment.
