Motor Bike Accident – Springsure
At 11.45AM CHR was notifyied of an injured man following a Motor Bike Accident (MBA). QAS responded by road, and CHR was sent to the site with an Intensive Care Paramedic on board.
Upon arrival at the scene, it was ascertained that the 45 year old injured man had been dirt bike riding with his two sons in preparation for an upcoming Motocross Enduro event. He had lost control following a jump, resulting in a collision with a tree that was next to the track. The injured man suffered spinal injuries and was airlifted to Rockhampton.
