South East Thangool
A 76 year old male was rescued from a property 15 miles South East of Thangool, this evening by the RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service after he sustained severe burns to his body and face, after his caravan burnt down.
The man was treated on scene by QAS paramedics and RFDS Doctors with QFRS officers establishing a landing zone for the RACQ Capricorn Helicopter.
The man was flown to Thangool airport where RFDS were waiting to transport the patient to Royal Brisbane Hospital for specialist treatment.
